I like that you were trying to capture motion, very difficult to do. I think the quickness of the method helps that. It could use a few more colour highlights to pull out the dragonfly from the dark background.

i agree with nerf it lacks contrasts.. its the most noticable thing about this piece. maybe contrasting colors to make the dragonfly more visible? good job though +6

Thanks people. You're bang on about the contrast. really needs to stand out more. should have given the dragonfly more glow. i'm just so damn lazy.....
